Pendant l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9, c&rsquo;est plein de vie parce que dans son petit port les ferries accostent, qui transportent les randonneurs d&rsquo;Agia Roumeli qui se trouve au bout des gorges de Samaria. De ce village partent de petits bateaux pour le village graphique, cosmopolite et isol\u00e9 de Loutro (il n&rsquo;y a pas de route vers ce village, vous ne pouvez voyager qu&rsquo;en bateau). Sfakia est visible de la mer, ce village est construit en amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre au-dessus de la baie. Plusieurs b\u00e2timents d&rsquo;architecture traditionnelle ont surv\u00e9cu.
